Chris Stirling traded the frozen prairies of Winnipeg for the warm waters of Bermuda, where he discovered his passion for maritime history and historical fiction. A technology manager by day and adventure storyteller by night, he brings systematic research and a love of human drama to his Crimson Cross series, set during the Golden Age of Piracy. Currently living in Auckland with his wife and young son, Chris is always planning his next historical deep dive while chasing his toddler and following his beloved Winnipeg Jets.
